From the area codes I’m assuming this is a texts-from-last-night photoshop, but I can completely see this conversation happening in canon.

AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA LOL OMG YES

Well, in the original story Xavier is unconscious (well, almost dead) and Erik is the one who does all the talking:
“…[So here we are again, Charles. As always. If a man’s mortal enemy is his running mate, in some sense, and your status reflects on mine…] …Then we both come out of this badly, don’t we? Me powerless, you brain-dead. “We are not now that strength which in old days moved Earth and Heaven”.

  #so fucking canon it hurts
This is nothing. Well, maybe not “nothing” - but that whole story is like made for (and by) Charles/Erik shippers. At first Xavier seems dead; his body has been healed by Exodus but his mind is gone, destroyed. But then Erik appears and Charles - somehow, even in such terrible state senses his presence AND his mind starts working. Then we get to see what happens in his poor mind; everything, every memory is Erik-Erik-Erik. Finally he wakes up; they’re almost instantly attacked by Acolytes (first - by Cargill, then - by Exodus). And then Xavier - who was dying, like, five minutes earlier, goes into badass mode to save Erik.
…I love this storyline.
